Who is responsible for your data

Pierre Tixier, owner of Baleal Happiness Surf House (local accommodation licence 95006/AL), is responsible for the personal data sent through this website. To contact him about your data, write to privacy@balealsurfhouse.com.

What we collect

Only what you type in the booking request form: first name, email, arrival and departure dates, number of adults and children, and your message.

Why

To answer your booking request and, if you book, to prepare your stay. The legal basis is the steps taken at your request before a contract (article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR). Your data is never sold or used for advertising.

Who receives it

• Formspree, Inc., the form service that sends your request to us by email. Formspree uses technical infrastructure in the United States, so your request is processed outside the European Union. See the Formspree privacy policy.
• Our local property manager, only if you book, to prepare your stay and welcome you.
• GitHub Pages, which hosts this website, may record technical data such as your IP address.
• OpenStreetMap receives your IP address when the map on the home page loads.

How long we keep it

If you do not book, your request is deleted 12 months after you send it. If you book, your data is kept for as long as needed to prepare your stay and to meet our legal obligations.

Cookies

This website uses no cookies and no tracking or analytics tools.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to receive a copy of it, or object to its use. You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD).
